This
work was thought as a previous experience to a discussion about
the concepts of authorship and art work. We purpose an arbitrary
sentence and we ask people to illustrate each word with an image,
sound, page or any thing resource which could be found in the
net. A deep reference link is necessary to get this. In other
words, to link directly to the internet address of the resource
file and show it out of context as a part of the web pages of
our site.
A
browser window divided in some frames allows to use every link
in every order. That breaks the tyranny of the linear reading
imposed by the text. Only a very attentive user who watchs the
internet address of each resource could detect that these resources
are not hosted in the own site of the web page. In consequence,
most users could believe that the author of the page is the author
of the resources, too.
When
a visual artist who doesn't work usually with netart discovers
that taking the other people's works are so easy he or she says
'Wow!, it's great!". The first reaction is very enthusiastic because
the creative possibilities are clear. But afterwards the artist
becomes worried about that, because his or her own works could
be token by other authors too. The discussion about the legal
and economic implications of this matter remains open.
